Yes, the trouble is that our emerging society does not really read much, as they are hooked on little tweets, postergrams or instagrams ...and quickly absorb and share what someone else says, not exploring the truth about others or about God. So, instead of accepting the truth ...they accept what they believe to be the truth, or possibly more accurate, what they want to be the truth ...or what someone else wants them to believe as true. 

And when they say they accept or believe something spiritual, it may not be the Spirit of God, even though they may believe it to be. 

So, the simple truths of mentioning the love of Jesus may not draw them closer to understanding who Jesus truly is, or what He stands for ...and growth or change may not even cross their mind, as in their mind it is not necessary if they are loved by Him.

And if someone doesn't feel love within ...they often search for it without.  It is often without commitment and the endurance that true love often demands.
